2020 DTE Energy Rebates

DTE has two levels of rebates for networked lighting controls - Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Tier 1

To achieve these incentives, you must have at least three of the following features:

  • Networking of luminaires and devices

  • Occupancy sensing

  • Daylight harvesting/ photocell control

  • High-end trim/task tuning

  • Zoning

  • Luminaire and device addressability

  • Continuous dimming

  • Scheduling

  • Energy monitoring

  • Device monitoring/remote diagnostics

  • Load shedding (demand response)

  • External systems integrations (EMS/ BMS/ HVAC/ API)

  • Scene control

Tier 1 incentives are $185/kWh for interiors with a ceiling height less than 15 feet, increasing to $290/kWh for interiors with a ceiling height greater than 15 feet. The reduction in kWh can also include trimmed wattage.

Tier 2

To achieve these incentives, your system must be Design Lights Consortium (DLC) listed. Amatis Controls is DLC listed as a networked lighting controls provider.

  • Tier 2 incentives are $270/kWh for interiors with a ceiling height less than 15 feet, increasing to $420/kWh for interiors with a ceiling height greater than 15 feet. The reduction in kWh can also include trimmed wattage. In addition,
